Library Shows

As a childrens performer who has been a part of public library summer reading programs for years, Nancy knows how to connect to children and weaves storytelling and ventriloquism together in a dynamic way that motivates kids to read, teaches them about values and morals, and helps them get in touch with their creativity and drive to learn.

By interacting with her puppet “family” in an entertaining and age-relevant show, Nancy captures the childrens’ attention and connects their interest to literature and books with the story she presents.  Adults and children both are mesmerized by her energy and by her show, and with a positive message to bring kids into the library, she’s frequently invited back as a public library childrens performer on a consistent basis.

A published author, Nancy has appeared at:

TEXAS STORYTELLING FESTIVAL

STORIES ON THE BRAZOS

WINTER TALES, OKLAHOMA

TUMBLEWEED STORYTELLING FESTIVAL

TIGER TALES

 TAMPICO (Mexico)  STORYTELLING FEST

and at libraries all over the southwest

Nancy’s performances bring joy, tons of laughter and fun to all ages.  Children love to see Nancy and her “family” return every year at Hood County Library’s Summer Reading Club.  Nancy fills her performances with good morals, hilarious accents, wonderful stories, laughter and even a mentioning of Lady GaGa!  It’s amazing to watch how well she connects to children, bringing up relative issues for the their ages.  I think adults love her programs just as much as the children do!  Nancy is a remarkable person and performer, a true treasure to all!
